Moral Panic is a feeling of fear spread among a large number of people when an issues threatens the well-being of society". We watched Quadrophenia to see how moral panic is represent in the media. Cohen explains that the media takes one situation and overacts making society think that their way of life is being challenged. The media then takes it even further which encouraged the youths to rebel.
