Film Poster Idea
I need to look for idea for the creation of my film poster. I needed it to represent the genre of the short film, thriller. To get ideas I looked on line at professional film posters. I when looking at the poster I thought the simple but dramatic posters stood out the most when compared to the other poster. This helped me to decide that I wanted to make my poster simple and dramatic. The poster that gave me inspiration:
Putting in the narration (unfinished)
We decided that we should a narration over the top of the film, this because it will help the audience to understand what is going on in the film. We wrote a script on what the write (played by Amber Mobbs) needs to say:
Lola could hear the crunching of gravel underneath her feet as she walked home from work. Whilst crossing the road, she peered over her shoulder only to see someone dressed in black exiting the alley way behind her. As she continued down the street the figure pursued.
We then found a quite room to record in so that there isn't any noise over the background so the audience is only having to pay attention to what the narrator is saying.
once we had finished recording the narration. we uploaded the files on the computer and converted them so we were able to edit them on the software the we were using. we made sure the correct voice over was over the right shot.

She sat down on a bench, waiting for a friend to call. Unbeknownst to he, the figure previously following her every move, sat on another bench across from hers. They cautiously reached for their phone and began ominously taking photos of her. Receiving the message, she continued on her journey home.
Turning the corner she noticed that the figure was still following her every move. Trying to remain calm, she took the familiar steps on her route home. Observing her stalker has become more suspicious, paranoia set in and she quickened her pace.
As she became more scared she began to rush, running for cover in a nearby forest. Running through a gate and down a path, she was forced to drop her bag to prevent the weight from slowing her down.
Her stalker stayed close on her trail. As they ran further into the forest, she got lucky when her pursuer stumbled.
She took the opportunity to climb over a fence and hide behind a wide old oak tree. Squeezing through the fence, Lola’s stalker continued to follow her every move.
As they neared, she began to panic. She began to hyperventilate and had no other choice but to call for help.
Her hands shaking, she pulled out her phone. Little did she know, the figure she was so fearful of was lurking right behind her, watching her every move.
Before she had the chance to get through, the stalker lunged toward Lola and she fell

Editing
To edit the shots that we had filmed we us MoviePlus X6. It allows us to simple select the shot that we want and move it the where we want it as well as simply edit the shot in the length.
Editing took quite a few days but it also allowed us to see if we need to redo some shot or to complete get new ones. We had to add visual effect that you can see in the current shot in the picture, this made it see different the scenes with the author making the audience think that it is the scenes from the book that the author is writing.

What Improvements?
We had the class watch out work, which was very helpful as they gave us some very positive feedback and some ways to improve what we have done. The improvement we got were: that the some of the scene where the stalker is chasing the girl are a bit too long (so we will go over them and cut them down), this will also help as the brief says that the film should be about 5 minutes and we are over that time by quite a few minutes.
Another thing they say that needed to be improved on was that the stalker filming the girl when they are sitting on the beach ins't very obvious. We plan to improve this by filming in the stalkers prospective, this will work as then people can see that the stalker is clearly obsessed with this girl.

Office Filming
We starting our filming by getting the office scene first as this was the scene we were most unsure about so we wanted to be able to give ourselves plenty of time if we needed to go back and change scenes or re-do some of the shots.
These are some of the shot that we got.
However we will have to edit most of the shot we got to make them work with each other so there is a fluent motion between them.

Forest Filming
this was probably the hardest of all the filming we had to do as we found it quite challenging to make sure that the shot where clear while we ran. We also had to make sure that we got the shaky effect that happens when there is a chase scene.
We made sure that we got a lot of different type of shot to make sure that there is a variety for the audience when they are watching do it isn't repetitive, and making sure that when we are editing it looks like it is connected and that the scenes flow from one to the next.
